Over 50% of consumers often or always check out online reviews, while only 34% seek out information on discounts and pricing.
Analysis: More homeowners care about the quality of your work compared to those who look for the best deal. Therefore, you could offer 75% off to all new customers, but chances are, if you don’t have positive reviews, they won’t ever consider hiring you.
36.4% of consumers agree that Google reviews, reviews on other websites, and local search rankings are the most important factors when looking for a business.
Analysis: Beyond price, experience, responsiveness or numerous other characteristics, homeowners put reviews and the opinions of past customers over anything else. In fact, more than one out ever three homeowners agree that reviews on your website, CraftJack and other websites is the most important factor when considering who to hire.
62.7% of consumers believe that online reviews are “important” or “very important” when choosing a local business. Only 3% do not consider reviews when making a purchase decision on a local business.
