Video: How To Contact Old Referrals

Video Tip - Email Marketing

There’s never a bad time to plan ahead and earn more customers. We must always stay hungry for business, and a great way to accumulate new leads and stay busy during the slow months ahead is by ramping up your email marketing campaigns.

We discussed the importance and how-to’s of email marketing in other articles, but we also wanted to show you how you can target your past and current referrals via the CraftJack Lead Manager.

Watch below as Noah shows you how to export all past and current referrals from the CraftJack Lead Manager into your email marketing program.

Things to Keep in Mind for Email Marketing

To recap and add to the video, here are some things that you’ll want to consider when starting an email campaign to contact old referrals and leads:

  1. What are your goals? Define these upfront. Are you just checking in? Are you providing information?
  2. How often will you be sending them? There’s a fine line between too little and too many emails. You don’t want to spam your customers, but at the same time you want to make sure you’re always fresh in their mind. Generally speaking, once a month is a good frequency to send out email campaigns.
  3. Who are you sending them to? How you approach emails may differ depending on who you are sending them to. Your messaging may be customized to project type, whether or not you have an established relationship, and more.
  4. What should your tone be? Similar to your messaging, you should decide on the tone for your campaign before you start sending emails.

Like Noah reminds us, always be sure to include an option to unsubscribe to your messages. Failure to do so can result in lost business or an upset client.
